I have a twin in my story, and he needs to be named! One is a girl, the other is a boy in the twin sibset… oh yeah, and they’re skaters.
They are of [name_f]Asian[/name_f] decent and will have a surname to reflect that (haven’t decided on the exact name just yet).
With the girl I already know her name, which is [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. She’s the cool confident type who faces problems head on, she has a raw talent for athletics, and a personality that just draws people in. She dresses in an edgy style and flakes out a lot. Her goal is to become a pro skater and to be the owner of an entire active wear clothing line.
The boy… I’m not sure about his name. I want it to be nature themed to fit in with [name_f]Briar[/name_f] (but not start with the letter B). Right now I have the placeholder name [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] for him, but I’m not feeling it. “[name_u]Canyon[/name_u]” is much quieter. He skates with [name_f]Briar[/name_f] and preforms all of the routines for the school’s skater club, many of their tricks are based on [name_u]Canyon[/name_u]'s knowledge of physics, and thus they can do some pretty interesting tricks on a board. However, [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] is less sure of his future than [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. [name_u]Canyon[/name_u]'s heart isn’t into skating, he just got into because his sister needed a partner, and later [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] struggled in math so he decided to apply math to skating in order to make learning math more enjoyable. His heart isn’t in numbers either, so for the moment he feels really lost and unsure of himself.
I don’t know if character description will help you out here, but I threw it out here just incase. What I’m really looking for here are nature based boy names for “[name_u]Canyon[/name_u].” Thank you!
I love the name [name_f]Briar[/name_f], and it seems to really fit your character well. Some suggestions for her twin:
[name_u]Kai[/name_u] - I feel like it could fit your character quite nicely. I’m not sure if I love it next to [name_f]Briar[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] - I love this name and I think it could work for a boy, but generally I (and nameberry) would suggest it for a girl. It does sound like a sibling to [name_f]Briar[/name_f] and it could offer you the nickname [name_m]Arrow[/name_m].
[name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] - I wouldn’t say it’s a quiet name, but considering you don’t know what your child is going to grow up to be when you name them, it might still be an option.
[name_f]Arbor[/name_f] - One of my favourite nature names, I think it works really well as a boy name and could be a good fit for your character.
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - Another favourite, I feel like it could easily be a brother to [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] but that might not be a plus if [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] isn’t quite right.
[name_m]Fox[/name_m] - I think I like this better than [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] because it sounds more like your character.
I like the idea of [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for the boy twin. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] go really well together.

I’m really liking the name [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], it has a really sweet, earthy feel. I don’t have any other names I’m thinking about, but I’m loving anything that has a sweet vibe.
