I am in need of some advice and inspiration on choosing a name for our secound daughter due last [name]Saturday[/name]. Our first daughter is 17 months and is called ”lodie [name]Bluebell[/name] [name]Morris[/name].
We like pretty names that aren’t too out there but are unheard of. It would have to be on par with DD’s name, as in doesn’t stand out more or less. The French forename and flower middle name isn’t necessarily set in stone.
OH likes [name]Molly[/name] but I hate the alliteration and feel it doesn’t stand out enough. We both like [name]Anais[/name] (with trema) but I have issues with the pronunciation.
Nothing has really jumped out at me like ”lodie did and I fear I have set too much of a benchmark ! Please help !
I really like the name [name]Ana[/name]”s, but you are right, pronouciation is an issue.
Here are some other French names that may work:
L”onie
[name]Aliz[/name]”e
Eug”nie
[name]Flavie[/name]
Magalie
[name]Naomi[/name]
No”mie
[name]Simone[/name]
[name]Sol[/name]”ne
[name]Vianne[/name]
[name]Virginie[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] is adorable! And I really like the pp suggestion of No”mie! Some names I think would make a good sister to Ms. [name]Elodie[/name]…
[name]Adele[/name] (though it might be too close in sound to [name]Elodie[/name], I can’t decide…)
Az”lie
[name]Amandine[/name]
[name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Delphine[/name]
[name]Delphia[/name]
[name]Giselle[/name]
[name]Julienne[/name]
L”ontine
[name]Marise[/name]
[name]Melina[/name]
[name]Odette[/name]
[name]Orianne[/name]/[name]Oriane[/name]
