I like using family names as middle names if possible so I “dug” up some names from my family tree. I found a few interesting ones I want some honest opinions on.

[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_m]Loyal[/name_m]
I like Zadia. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know how it’s pronounced? I’m thinking ZAY-dee-uh. I also really like [name_m]Vance[/name_m].
Zadia is beautiful, and [name_m]Vance[/name_m] is nice too. I wouldn’t use the others, except maybe [name_u]Loren[/name_u] as a middle name.
[name_m]Loyal[/name_m] is fantastic! I’m a sucker for virtue names, so I’d love to meet a child named [name_m]Loyal[/name_m]. I’d personally use it in the middle, but it would be lovely either way. [name_f]Oda[/name_f] just reminds me of ‘odour’, unfortunately.
I like Zadia a lot. I can’t say I’m keen on [name_f]Oda[/name_f] as it just brings to mind ‘Yoda’ & ‘odour’, and [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] is so incredibly dated I just cannot get on board with it at all.
I don’t mind [name_m]Vance[/name_m], and [name_u]Loren[/name_u]'s not too bad. [name_m]Loyal[/name_m]'s okay, but I’m not loving it.
Zadia is interesting, but I feel like it wouldn’t go with a lot of first names. [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] is cute; I know it’s very old-fashioned and a name most do not like, but I think it’s sweet as a middle name. [name_f]Oda[/name_f] is a bit too odd sounding. [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is too feminine for my taste. [name_m]Loyal[/name_m] is a bit eh, and [name_m]Vance[/name_m] isn’t terrible.
I think Zadia is just pronounced like Za-dah but I am not positive I only ever heard her referred to as grandma “last name”.
