Name Twin Characters (Boy and Girl)

Edited because I no longer need info.

Sounds like a great story in the works!

Here are my suggestions for male names. They aren’t all Scandinavian, but sound Nordic. I’ll put the pronunciations in brackets since some can be said differently.

Metias [me-[name_m]TI[/name_m]-us]; or [name_m]Matias[/name_m]
Andras [AHN-dras]; or [name_m]Andreas[/name_m]
[name_m]Breccan[/name_m] [BREK-ken]
[name_u]Joss[/name_u] [JOHSS]
Greggor [[name_m]GREG[/name_m]-ger]; or [name_m]Greger[/name_m]
[name_m]Luka[/name_m] [[name_m]LUKE[/name_m]-uh]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [AHS-uh]
[name_m]Jaron[/name_m] [[name_m]JAIR[/name_m]-un]
[name_m]Joren[/name_m] [JOR-un]
[name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [HEY-din]
[name_m]Ky[/name_m] [[name_f]KI[/name_f]]
Gethyn [GETH-in]
[name_m]Oren[/name_m] [OR-in]

For girls, I would suggest:

[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [[name_u]BRIN[/name_u]]
[name_f]Gretta[/name_f] [GRET-tuh]
[name_f]Sonja[/name_f] [SOAN-yah]
Merrida [[name_f]MARE[/name_f]-id-dah]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [FRAY-uh]
[name_f]Miri[/name_f] [MERE-ee]
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [ING-grid]

Again, close to none of these names are actually Scandinavian (sorry if you wanted direct names) but if you’re going for sound or feel, hopefully these will help! Books such as The [name_f]Princess[/name_f] Academy, [name_m]Palace[/name_m] of [name_m]Stone[/name_m], Goose Girl, [name_f]Enna[/name_f] Burning, [name_u]River[/name_u] Secrets, and [name_m]Forest[/name_m] [name_m]Born[/name_m] (by [name_u]Shannon[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]) might open up a few more name possibilities as they are all set in Scandinavian-like areas. The Giver series also has a few great names that sound similar. I adore writing fiction and coming up with character names is always sooo hard. Best of luck!

PS here is a great website for Nordic names: Nordic Names

I like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] for the girl, and for the boy, what about Sören?

I like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] & [name_f]Hildi[/name_f] for the girl, and for the boy maybe Kaus? ([name_m]Klaus[/name_m] reminds me a bit of [name_f]Santa[/name_f] hah)
