Name with Link/Linc as a nickname?

My husband loves the name [name_m]Link[/name_m]. I like it for a nickname but not as a full name. Unfortunately neither of us like the name [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m].

Does anyone have any ideas of other names that could have a nickname of [name_m]Link[/name_m]?

Thanks so much for the suggestions, really good ideas. It certainly is a tricky one, I’ll mention this to my husband and see what he thinks.

Our [name_m]Link[/name_m] is a [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], and has a K middle name so we could use [name_m]Link[/name_m] and not [name_m]Linc[/name_m]. [name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] is for dad anyway, but I thought it flowed nicely.

He was nearly just a [name_m]Link[/name_m], (for [name_u]Legend[/name_u] of [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]) and not a [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. We didn’t have much time to consider as you can see from my signature, and just like you, we couldn’t really find anything at was reasonable to use as a longer form.

I don’t really know how to help you other than by saying our [name_m]Link[/name_m] has most definitely grown into being a [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. Everyone comments on what a wonderful, handsome name it is when we have to use it officially, (mostly doctors) and all the family know and call him just [name_m]Link[/name_m]. I’m glad we chose to go longer because it’s nice to have something to yell when they’re in trouble. Haha. And I like nicknames and you can’t shorten [name_m]Link[/name_m] anymore.

It wasn’t my favorite but because we wanted [name_m]Link[/name_m] we used it. And of course now we couldn’t imagine any different. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like no matter what you chose will be the same for you. Good luck.
