So, do you guys know about word ladders? You change several letters each time to get from one word to another to another to another- like this.
What if we do that with names- but probably phonetically: For example, [name_f]Alice[/name_f] could become [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] even though they’re spelled very differently, because they’re pronounced similarly.
Building off of the previous example, it could be like:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] → [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] → [name_f]Elise[/name_f] → [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] → [name_f]Liesel[/name_f] → [name_m]Selwyn[/name_m] etc. It can be kind of a big jump if the names are complicated, like [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]. Like, [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f] could become [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] because if [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] had just been used, there wouldn’t be much else you could do- that brings me to another point; there must be at least eight names in between before you can repeat a name, but we don’t want to just go into a cycle so only do that if you can’t think of another.
So, the first name is [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]! Have fun!
