Not being able to connect to characters on tv shows because their names don’t appeal to you, but also trying to find the good in awful characters because you love their names.

I know I’m late, but I can’t help myself.
-I asked my 7 year old cousin what his favorite name is.
-I spent the 5 months I knew my neighbor was pregnant trying to guess her baby’s name.
-I routinely look up celebrity’s kid’s middle names.
-[name_f]My[/name_f] friends ask me for my other friends middle names.

So sometimes I go look on the namenerdcirclejerk subreddit thing (I don’t post there at all and I’m not a Reddit user) just to see what people are saying but I came across a post I made
Did not expect to see myself on there but ok.
Definitely prefer nameberry because they don’t make fun of every name, but yeah. Didn’t expect to see myself on there.

Oh yeah. They definitely think everything and anything is weird. I hardly ever look on there because they’re very opinionated about anything outside the top 10 pretty much.

I only browse it for the latest Taylee-Mckarty-Nayvie-[name_f]Maylee[/name_f]-[name_f]Lakynn[/name_f]-type caucasity. Think a sibset named Jaycelyn, [name_m]Kacen[/name_m], Peyson, [name_f]Emersyn[/name_f], [name_u]Jamison[/name_u], Hudsyn, and Oaklen. (Peyson and Hudsyn are girls and [name_u]Jamison[/name_u] and Oaklen are boys, by the way.)
By the way, is anyone else hoping Blessa and Bin name baby Seaworld #4 a “T” name to complete the theme? (They already have [name_m]Spurgeon[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]) [name_f]My[/name_f] money’s on [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] if it’s a boy. Actually, I prefer not to imagine it. But who cares? I love it and their opinions are ridiculous— there’s nothing wrong with any of those combos (that is, the combos that you complimented)!

Who knows? More to the point, who cares? Clearly they have nothing better to do with their time than create forums specifically to hate, and those types of people shouldn’t get the time of day from anyone— much less those they are directing the hate toward.

I use Reddit a lot but I can never get behind how they deal with names. They seem to always pick out the tamest possible ones and comment on how weird they are. Like, they could have picked on Windowsill, but no, they decided to pick on [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].
One time someone on Reddit told me that any name ending in -on sounds like it belongs to an intergalactic monster. I thought about asking “even [name_m]Simon[/name_m]?” but why bother
