I think as a second middle name this works well, as it is an important name for you. We always had "people’ names for our animals…which robbed me of using [name]Milo[/name] as a first name:) But as a second middle name, I say go for it!

I totally would, every dog I have ever had was a part of our family. They don’t call them furry babies for nothing. 
I’d to point out that although he is a boy, the character [name]Indiana[/name] [name]Jones[/name] took the name “[name]Indiana[/name]” after his childhood dog.
