Nameless but lucky baby 13

Hello everyone,

I haven’t posted for a while, and last time I was expecting baby number 9 and then I would be DONE! Well, the [name_m]Lord[/name_m] had other plans and we are now expecting baby 13 - who will not be the last, I couldn’t end on number 13 :wink:

You were so helpful when we were naming number 9, who became our little [name_f]Hetty[/name_f]. We are not finding out the gender once again, so please could you suggest us some names for boys and girls for lucky number 13? They are joining us in [name_u]January[/name_u].

My husband ran out of suggestions 10 children ago and my brain is frazzled. All our kids have three names, and one of those is a family name. Apart from that most anything goes. Thanks in advance.

It would be intersting to know (at least a few of) your other children’s names to get a sense of what style you prefer.

All of our boys have a family name as their second middle, so we don’t need suggestions for that. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t ask me what we will use though! All our girls have family names in there somewhere, at the moment we are considering Marimar or [name_u]Skye[/name_u] but have nothing set in stone.

[name_u]Lucky[/name_u] baby 13 makes me think of [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] or [name_f]Serendipity[/name_f]. [name_f]Serendipity[/name_f] may be too close to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] though. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] Marimar [name_u]Skye[/name_u] seems like a lovely combo to me.
I also like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] with your other children.

For a boy [name_m]Asher[/name_m] or [name_m]Denton[/name_m] mean happy which I think is a nice outlook for number 13. [name_m]Denton[/name_m] means happy home. I like [name_m]Denton[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] as a combo if it goes with your chosen family name.

You go mumma bear!! 13! Woohoo! :smiley: I love big families, but even I don’t know that I’d manage 13.

I love @malloryknox’s suggestion of [name_f]Serendipity[/name_f]. So pretty! It also made me think of [name_u]Story[/name_u], which I also love.

Thanks! I’ve passed these ones on to DH to consider. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce [name_f]Indre[/name_f]? I really like [name_f]Carys[/name_f], [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] off the girls list and I like all the boys list but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is calling out to me. [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. Thanks for the suggestions!

I don’t particularly like [name_f]Serendipity[/name_f] or [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] but it made me think of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] which also means lucky, and I’ve mentioned to DH and he says he likes it. That doesn’t happen very often! What do you think of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]? [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]? I can really picture this name in our family, thanks so much for your help :slight_smile:

Although knowing my luck (pun intended) I’ll fall in love with this name and our baby will be a girl :smiley:

Ahh mummacat92, my [name_f]MIL[/name_f] & FIL live with us or we wouldn’t manage. Also, we have a big yard so when they all get too loud I just send them outside to play, put my earplugs in and wave at them out of the kitchen window :wink: One of these days though, you’ll find me in the funny farm!

I like [name_u]Story[/name_u] for a girl. My eldest girl just read over my shoulder and is now suggesting [name_u]Skye[/name_u] [name_u]Story[/name_u] or [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] - she is desperate to use [name_u]Skye[/name_u] as it is a dear family member’s name who passed away last year but I’m just not sure I can do it :cry: Maybe Something [name_u]Story[/name_u] Marimar? I’m going to pass that one over to DH to think on.
