I love names, have read a lot of posts here and finally have a short enough list to post! This list isn’t particularly short, but its really short for me. I love names, and DH and I are starting to talk about them.
I really like all of the names below though I worry about popularity on a few of them. That being said, a name has to be pretty popular or rising fast for it to bother me.
I would love some thoughts on the list. Are there any standouts? Oddballs? Great sister names? Additional suggestions?

[name]Thea[/name] - not a huge [name]Thea[/name] fan. But I love [name]Theodora[/name] and [name]Dorothea[/name]. You might like those.
[name]Greta[/name] - another name I prefer as a nickname. I think [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Greta[/name] is probably my favorite.
[name]Ivy[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] this name. One of my all-time favorites.
[name]Rory[/name] - I have a soft spot for this name, but it’s a bit boyish for me.
[name]Sylvie[/name] - love this name too. I like [name]Sylvia[/name] a tad more but I think that’s because it was my great-grandma’s name.
[name]Lucy[/name] - rising in popularity unfortunately. I love [name]Lucia[/name] though.
[name]Audrey[/name] - also getting popular, unfortunately.
[name]Leonie[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Leona[/name]. [name]Leonie[/name] is a cute nickname. In general I’m not a big fan of nicknames as first names, if you couldn’t tell lol.

[name]Cora[/name] - For some reason [name]Cora[/name] lacks personality in my mind. I like [name]Coralie[/name] and [name]Coraline[/name] (though not [name]Coral[/name]).

[name]Beatrice[/name] - [name]Love[/name]. [name]Love[/name] the nickname [name]Bea[/name] as well.
[name]Etta[/name] - I like this but it feels a bit incomplete to me as a name.

Thanks! I understand the desire to choose a more formal name and use a cute nickname. However, I just can’t bring myself to like [name]Margaret[/name] as much as [name]Greta[/name].
