Names ending and beginning with same letter

Does this bother you?

I’m really fussy about names needing to flow well, my partner’s surname is so tricky to find anything to flow with as it begins with an N so I feel like all first names that end with an N are going to sound really jarring.

For example:

[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] N_____
[name_m]Leon[/name_m] N_____
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u] N_____
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] N_____

I’m also not sure about names that would end in T as the surname also ends that way, would this cause the same problem?

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] N____T
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] N_____T
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] N____T
[name_u]August[/name_u] N____T

I do find the N ending into an N beginning a bit jarring, because it feels like the names blur into each other.

I don’t think having the first and middle name both end in T is a problem unless the two names totally rhyme, like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] Dennett or something.

They don’t sound ideal to me but in most cases they sound fine enough to work :slight_smile:
