Names ending in "by and dy" which are your favorites? (2 syllable)

LOOKING AT MY LISTS OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS I REALIZED I MUST LIKE BY AND DY ENDINGS…HERE ARE MY [name]FAVORITE[/name] BY AND DY(or ie) NAMES… WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES [name]ADD[/name] TO MY LISTS???

BY:

[name]ABBY[/name]
[name]RUBY[/name]
[name]LIBBY[/name]

DY:

[name]TRUDY[/name]
[name]JUDY[/name]
[name]SADIE[/name]

I like [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Trudy[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] the best from your list.

What do you think of
[name]Colby[/name]
[name]Rudy[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name]
[name]Kennedy[/name]
[name]Sydney[/name]
[name]Darby[/name]
[name]Gabby[/name]
[name]Toby[/name]
[name]Mandy[/name]/[name]Mindy[/name]
[name]Melody[/name]
[name]Wendy[/name]/[name]Windy[/name]

I like [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] the best.

What about:

[name]Ashby[/name]
[name]Edie[/name] (maybe short for [name]Eden[/name] or [name]Edith[/name]?)

That’s really all I can think of. Maybe something like [name]Beatrix[/name] nn [name]Bea[/name] or Avonlea?

I too think there’s something charming about -by and -dy names. I like [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] best of those options.

I second the addition of [name]Wendy[/name]–I know it can sound a little dated, but I love her character in [name]Peter[/name] [name]Pan[/name]! I like [name]Mandy[/name] and [name]Mindy[/name], too. I know some of these deviate spelling-wise, but the sounds are the same as -by and -dy…

[name]Ashby[/name]
[name]Quimby[/name] or [name]Quinby[/name]
[name]Trilby[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] (same sound)
[name]Cambrie[/name] (maybe since you like -by names, a -brie name would fit in?)

[name]Cassidy[/name]
[name]Lindy[/name]
[name]Sandy[/name]
[name]Claudie[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Birdie[/name]
[name]Indie[/name]
[name]Lydie[/name]
[name]Thandie[/name]
[name]Zadie[/name]
