We used to have Leland and Roland on our list, but then television characters ruined them. Now we still have Weyland and I really love Courtland, though my husband says it kind of weirdly, so I don’t think it’s an option for us.
[name_u]Holland[/name_u] is my favourite, although it’s a well-known place name unlike [name_u]Leland[/name_u] or [name_m]Roland[/name_m] (which you might not be looking for)
others I’ve come across (apart from actual places like [name_u]Ireland[/name_u], [name_u]Scotland[/name_u] etc.) …
@planetnames Oh yeah, place names are kind of hit or miss for me. I do really like [name_m]Noland[/name_m] and [name_m]Lakeland[/name_m], though maybe [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] spellings a little more. Thank you!
@eattacosforbreakfast [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is interesting. If it weren’t for the FL city…
@jenko I wish I liked [name_m]Arlan[/name_m] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]. I don’t know what it is about the arr sound that just doesn’t quite appeal. Keiland is cool, and I really like [name_m]Ryland[/name_m], too. Thank you!
Thanks everyone! I’m not sure if I can get behind a place name, especially one that my husband I have no connection to, but I do like the sounds of most of them a lot.
What do you all think of [name_m]Newland[/name_m]?
@moonkai [name_m]Wayland[/name_m] is awesome. I also like Howland, Lochland, and [name_m]Oakland[/name_m]. Thank you!
@ajenni10 I really like [name_u]Courtland[/name_u], too. [name_u]Leland[/name_u] is great, but unusable for us. Keeland and [name_m]Noland[/name_m] are both good options. Thank you!
