- my first thought for you is [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] it’s a name that’s been on my mind a lot recently, and i think she’s so folksy and special. i’ll try not to nerd out on etymology for too long, but the name derives from the german words for ‘murmuring’ and ‘rock’, referring to the murmuring sound of water rushing by a rock on a river. isn’t that just the most lyrical meaning?!
- i’m also forever a fan of [name_f]Althea[/name_f] for you. i’m definitely biased, because she’s one of my favorites, but i think it’s such a whimsical and lyrical name. she’s definitely a sweet little woodland bloom!
- i also see short and solid vintage-gems sitting perfectly on your list. names that are recognizable and well-established, but would still be exciting and sparkly to see on a name announcement. names that come to mind are [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] & [name_f]Norah[/name_f]. they feel like strong, woodsy little wildflowers
- Going a bit more unique, i know of a family with a little girl whose middle name is Madrone, and i’ve been obsessed with it since i first heard the name. Madrones are the most beautiful, elegant trees, and i love the symbolism of giving a child a tree name, as a symbol of strength and resilience. i think your style could pull off Madrone so effortlessly!
- Two more botanical-themed names I really love for you are [name_m]Sorrel[/name_m] and [name_f]Laelia[/name_f]. both are so lyrical and woodsy, and i especially love Laelia’s melodic sound with E’s name.
