Hey everybody!! I recently decided to write a play about something that I’ve recently discovered that I have a deep passion for, and that is… mental and neurological disorder awareness!! Here’s that plot that I have so far:
We’ve {us Americans} have reached a point where the majority of our population has developed mental, or neurological disorders, so to “help the poor, suffering, victims”, the government has decided to send all of the adults with mental disorders to a special mental asylum. Not long after that, they send all the children to another asylum. My protagonist {he’s sixteen} who struggles with bipolar disorder, is sent along with his younger sister {she’s twelve}, who struggles with maladaptive daydreaming.
So I’m in need of names for a bipolar sufferer {male}, a maladaptive daydreamer {female}, a misophonic girl {misophonia is hatred of specific sounds}, and a boy with depression.
Those last two are going to be my protagonist’s best friends, by the way!
I know I ask a lot, but I really want to do this, and help spread understanding! If you are suffering from a mental or neurological disorder, or illness {I am}, just know that I care, and I want to help you :D!

P.S. I edited this just now, so I apologize for the title {Names for a protagonist with misophonia!!} being wrong. I changed my plot a bit so that my protagonist doesn’t have misophonia.

About your list:
[name_m]Jason[/name_m] is a pretty ordinary name, although if you want something really ordinary, that would be a good choice.
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] doesn’t sound much like a male name, so if you named him that it would have to drive a significant part of the plot.
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] has links with the Divergent series, but the nickname [name_u]Toby[/name_u] could make it more unique to this character.
[name_m]Mateo[/name_m] is a very Spanish-sounding name, so if the character is not Mexican, I wouldn’t use it.
If you don’t like any of the ones on your list that much, you could use them as middles.

For last names I would advise you to look up the top 1000 last names in the US (or whatever country it takes place in), and pick one you like from there.
