[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] means Battle-Mighty which is just about the most badass meaning I’ve ever heard for a girls name. The nicknames for it are pretty frilly but the full name sounds very tough to me.
I’ve always thought [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] sounded like a rebel/heartbreaker name for a boy. It’s strong and a little surly but in that mysterious and a little dangerous way. Sounds like [name_m]Stone[/name_m] or [name_u]Steel[/name_u]. It has grit.
I like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]'s meaning , the name is just nms . [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] is interesting on a boy but I dislike it sooo much on a girl . Thanks though

To me names like [name_m]Striker[/name_m], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] and [name_m]Ranger[/name_m] feel like they’re trying too hard. Out of those three, [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] feels the most usable because it’s a surname.
What about [name_m]Miles[/name_m]? one of its possible meanings is “soldier.” [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and its female variants mean “defending men.” [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] means “warlike.” [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] means “strong.” [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] strikes me as a rebel name.

[name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] & [name_m]Shooter[/name_m] are way too associated with Guns for me. I suppose [name_u]Remy[/name_u] has a rebellious heart-throb kind of vibe to it, but that’s entirely because i associate it with [name_u]Remy[/name_u] LeBeau.
For girls, I’ve always thought [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] had a certain rebelliousness, but not in a law/heart-breaking kind of way…i picture an [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] as an extremely intelligent, extremely snarky, don’t-care-what-you-think-I’m-my-own-person kind of girl, if that makes sense?
