My husband and I are currently expecting a little girl due in [name_f]October[/name_f]! We’re so excited and have been narrowing down names but need some help. Our last name is [name_m]Jones[/name_m].
Our top choices are:
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] - this would be a double name which is tradition in my husband’s family
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] _____ - we can’t decide on a middle name. I like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] since it’s a family name but hubby is NOT a fan.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] ______ - need a middle here also
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] ____

Firstly, I love the combos [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
Secondly, I think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] doesn’t really work.
Finally, while I believe [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] works well, my faves would be [name_u]Ariel[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m].
My favorite is [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]! [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] is beautiful - I love it! And [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is such a great nn. None of the others compare for me, but I do like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] & [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]. I had a cat named [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] so I can’t really comment on that one objectively:-) The only two that I don’t really care for are [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] & [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]. I can’t disassociate [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] from the Disney character. I love love love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m]!

Have you considered [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle for the others? It would fit perfectly with all of them. Plus, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] Zircon is [name_f]October[/name_f]'s [name_f]Gem[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m]
I think [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] might be a cute mn for [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]. [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f], maybe. It’s close to [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but not too much. Other suggestion might be [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]. If you were to use [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as a mn [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] would be cute. Not too big on [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u].

I actually prefer [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] for a boy, but its still very pretty for a girl. I think [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] is a bit much. Perhaps something like [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f], [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Posey[/name_f], etc would be better. I also like the already suggested [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
I don’t love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] but I can appreciate its spunk. From your list, I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] at all, I think it’s a bit dated, but from your list I would pair it as [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], which I think makes it a bit more fresh sounding.
