So, I’ve been writing a story for a couple months, but I keep adding/changing names. I need some names for a casual royalty setting. In particular, a tutor, a cook, a mischievous friend of a princess (female or male), and a villain-like person of royalty.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has much more of an imagination when it comes to names than me!
What type of society does your world take place in? It is a fantasy, or more realistic? Explaining the world you’re writing about would really help zero in on names you might like.

I’d suggest you looked up medieval/really old [name_m]French[/name_m], English, Scandinavian, etc. names. I’ve done that before and there can be some great options. Otherwise, you could make up names and give them meanings - depending on the kind of story, it could work. [name_f]Fantasy[/name_f], definitely; but if it’s more like The Prisoner of [name_f]Zenda[/name_f], where it’s the real world, it might not.
To sansavesper from writer22:
Thanks for asking, I should have been more specific. It’s like this; the kingdom is ruled by a queen who has a sister (her enemy), and the land was once inhabited from genius outcasts. They act as though they are normal, but with a couple of twists. The names needn’t be too formal, but they don’t have to be generic either.
