Edward - probably my husband’s favourite. He likes Eddie for a nickname, I prefer Ned.
Flynn - too stylistically different? I like it a lot though.
Frederick - has been top of my list for ages. Hubby isn’t keen.
Louis - Darcy’s almost name. Louis was frontrunner for most of my third pregnancy.
Rupert - I love this. Not sure I could get my husband on board.
Sebastian - hubby likes. I like it, but it’s not my favourite.
Baby will have two middles same as our other kids. Theirs are:

I actually really like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] with your set! It shares the quirkiness of [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], but it’s also a surname like [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]. [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] or [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u] sound nice to me.

I like every name on your list but my absolute favourites are Sebastian, Flynn (I actually think this works well with your children’s names, even if it is a bit different stylistically) and Louis. Sebastian would get my vote but you don’t seem to love it so for that reason I think Louis is your best option. It’s just such a great name and it fits so perfectly stylistically.
Although I think the ever so regal Edward and Frederick would complement your children’s names wonderfully too, perhaps even more so now that I think about it - they have different endings to Violet, Hugo and Darcy whereas as Louis has the same -ee ending sound as Darcy - not that that’s a big deal.

If not [name_u]Edward[/name_u] what about Edgar!! It takes a moment to warm up to but I absolutely adore [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] and you’d get the nickname options of [name_u]Eddie[/name_u] and [name_m]Ned[/name_m].
If not [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] How about Franklin?! [name_u]Franklin[/name_u] could be nicknamed [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_u]Finn[/name_u].

[name_u]Edward[/name_u] is a great name though so if he isn’t really feeling this others and you both like it, then it’s an excellent choice. I also adore the suggestion of [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] here.
With all of the above I love [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] as a potential middle.

[name_u]Edward[/name_u] is so classic and would fit in well with your older children’s names. Plus, I think you and your husband could both use your preferred nicknames if you wanted to.
I don’t think [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] is too mismatched, honestly. It has the same dashing vibe as [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], so I could see them as brothers.
