[name_u]Haven[/name_u]'t been here in a while, I even neglected it when naming our son but you all were very helpful in naming our second daughter.
We’re expecting our fourth - due [name_f]October[/name_f].
Names were fairly easy last time. We had one name we kept coming back to. But I feel like I’m named out. I have long lists of names I like but naming a baby is different, and I’ve found I can’t imagine using many of them.
Our daughters are Senia & [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], and our son is Theoden. Probably a little out there but we love 'em.
I’m not that far along so we haven’t spoken about names too much, but we have come up with a few that we agree on.
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Cyprian[/name_m], [name_m]Cadmus[/name_m], [name_m]Cedric[/name_m], [name_m]Evander[/name_m]… apparently we like C names.
I like these but none really stand out. WDYT?
Any ideas!?
Wow, I love your children’s names! So creative and just amazing! I love to hear from people who have used out of the box names for their children :).
I love your choices too. I literally can’t choose a favourite because they’re all great. Maybe that’s your problem!
If your looking for more ideas, I would love to help with that
First of all, congrats! And second of all, your children’s names are stunning.
From your list, my favourites are [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Cadmus[/name_m] and [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], although I think [name_m]Cadmus[/name_m] goes the best with your other kids. Senia, [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], Theoden, and [name_m]Cadmus[/name_m] is dashing.
Thanks guys!!
Theoden is from LOTR, it’s not why we chose it, but we love that it is, it’s a bonus
Senia, apolline, Theoden
I love the suggestions of [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m], [name_u]Cato[/name_u], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], [name_m]Endymion[/name_m] (thats just awesome), [name_m]Osiris[/name_m], [name_m]Lucien[/name_m], [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] & [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m].
[name_m]Will[/name_m] see what the husband thinks. I love all these suggestions! Hopefully he will too…
Hmmm… It seems like you like names one step away from the familiar but found somewhere in a book. Are you looking for boy and girl names? Or do you know it’s a boy? Here are a couple of names from fantasy books I unearthed that might be close enough to real names that people will go with them (favs with *).
For girls: [name_f]Ronia[/name_f], [name_f]Eglantine[/name_f], Egwene*, Cimorene, Sabriel*, Avienda, [name_f]Sidonie[/name_f]
