Names for our second!

We have one daughter ([name]Eva[/name] [name]Linn[/name] after both grandmothers) and are stuck on names for a second - feedback please!! We don’t know if it is a boy or a girl! We have some ideas but are open to others !

Some unisex names we like (not sure on middle names yet - joshua for a boy):

[name]Logan[/name]
[name]Reese[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Cooper[/name]

Girls: (no middle names selected yet)
[name]Cecilia[/name] ([name]CeCe[/name])
[name]Logan[/name] (nickname [name]Lola[/name])
[name]Reese[/name]
[name]Riley[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]

Boys:
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] (after a grandfather [name]Peter[/name])
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Cooper[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Logan[/name] [name]Peter[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Peter[/name]

Peronally, I think that with a decidedly feminine name on your first girl, a unisex name on a second girl will lead to confusion. If I heard siblings [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Logan[/name], or [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Reese[/name], I would automatically think that the second child was a boy. Now, if they were introduced as [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Lola[/name], then it would be a sure bet that they were both girls. What about [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Lauren[/name]? You could still get [name]Lola[/name] from [name]Lauren[/name], and it is not too frilly or fancy. [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]? [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Lark[/name]? [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Louise[/name]?

[name]Just[/name] my opinion of course.

I agree with mrstoon that a unisex name would be confusing since your daughter has a feminine name, that being said you have quite a few really awesome names on your list!
I think that [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Cecilia[/name] ([name]CeCe[/name]) are beautiful together! If you have a boy I prefer [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], or [name]Cooper[/name] with [name]Eva[/name].

Good luck deciding on a name!

I agree with the others about the unisex name confusion…

I really like [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] the best, I think they’re beautiful together!

For boys I like [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Peter[/name]

I too agree with the unisex name confusion. I think [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] sounds great, as well as the rest f boys names. My favorite from your girls names to match [name]Eva[/name] would be [name]Riley[/name], with the middle name either [name]Anne[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Maria[/name], [name]Sophia[/name] or [name]Kate[/name]. Congrats

I also love [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], you can get [name]Lola[/name] out of [name]Charlotte[/name] easily as well. If you want a tomboyish name, you can call her [name]Charlie[/name]

Thanks everyone! As you can see we are struggling with names! Another name on our list (I forgot to include) for a girl would be [name]Zoey[/name] (which, incidentally, has the same meaning as [name]Eva[/name] (“life”)). Thoughts? Also - our last name starts with an L…

I do love [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Riley[/name]!

Yes - we are trying to incorporate [name]Peter[/name] for my husband’s grandfather but I am not in love with [name]Peter[/name]…although I think this is going to be a girl anyways!
