My husband and I are expecting twin girls in six months. We already have a daughter named [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], and we’ve already thought of some pretty good names for the new arrivals:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], [name_u]Remi[/name_u], [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], [name_f]Estrella[/name_f], [name_u]Casey[/name_u], [name_m]Tennison[/name_m], [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
Are there any names like these that would be better? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think there’s a pair that goes together well for middle names (like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f])?
Thanks for the input!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] and …
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] & [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] or [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - these were my first thoughts.
Personally, I think step 1 would be to pick the first names you want to use, and then work on middles. It might make the process more straightforward, so easier.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] & [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_u]Remi[/name_u] & [name_u]Casey[/name_u] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - these names all go well together for twins, different but similar.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - Feels really dated to me.
[name_u]Tatum[/name_u] - makes me think of [name_u]Channing[/name_u] [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]. I would probably avoid. However, the three names that could work for a sister for [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] are [name_u]Casey[/name_u], [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], [name_m]Tennison[/name_m] & [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. However, honestly, none of these names are really my style.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] & [name_f]Estrella[/name_f] - share the elle, so I think if you use one, you need to cut the other. Side note, have you considered [name_f]Stella[/name_f]? Similar to [name_f]Estrella[/name_f], but not quite so uncommon. I think [name_f]Stella[/name_f] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] would be amazing for twins!
Ideas:
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - your idea, which I love.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Mallory[/name_f]
[name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Estrella[/name_f]
Thanks for the feedback!
I love all these names equally, so it will be hard, but we’ll going to decide on which ones should be first names and which should be middle names.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Estrella[/name_f] really struck me as good ideas. Maybe we’ll use them!
From your list I like [name_u]Remi[/name_u], [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_u]Emerson[/name_u].
Combo wise I like:
[name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Casey[/name_u]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Sailor[/name_u].
Those three are my favourites! [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] is a beautiful name!
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] & [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] - A super cute match, but maybe a little too beach-y.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] & [name_f]Molly[/name_f] - Double letters, beginning 'm’s, and the vintage-ness catches my eye.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] & [name_f]Estrella[/name_f] - Great match because of the double letters (again) and feminine sound.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] & [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - I don’t know why, but I think these two are cute together.
[name_u]Remi[/name_u] & [name_m]Tennison[/name_m] - The consonants sound great together for a more unisex vibe.
[name_u]Tatum[/name_u] & [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] - I like these together because of the same syllables and how they end with ‘m’ and ‘n’.
With [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] I really love [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (in any constellation).
For middle names, I think [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] are sweet.
If you want to go into the masculine middle name direction, [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] / [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_m]Tennison[/name_m] flow well, too.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] has a nice classic feel to it so I think names that also have a classic feeling might be good for her siblings. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] are the most classic feeling to me from the ones you have listed. They’re both four letters ending in -a but they do sound very different and start with different letters so I think those names together would be good for twins. Using other names from your list for middles, I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] would be wonderful.
If you wanted to go in a different direction though, I’d recommend a pair like [name_u]Remi[/name_u] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]. Maybe [name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_m]Tennison[/name_m] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]?
I love [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], and I think they work perfectly as twins names (and as [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]‘s little sisters’ names!). [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is perfection. It seems like you’re fond of unisex names, too, so I sort of like the idea of using unisex middles. Like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], or [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] would also fit in well with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], and would be my back-up option besides [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are pretty cute!
I like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] as twin names and as sister names to [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. I like that they are all vowel names yet different, and all timeless names with different ending sounds to one another. Very sweet and elegant! [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_m]Tennison[/name_m] is fabulous and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is sweet as well! [name_f]Icy[/name_f] & [name_f]Star[/name_f] make very cute nns, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]! Good luck! (I have identical twin girls, too, and fwiw they do not like sharing everything, so I would stay away from the same letter names or anything too matchy).
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]? This way, all three girls will share the “elle” sound in their middle name! I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is the prettiest name on your list and sounds beautiful with the vintage [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]!
I love the look of [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]. I think these have similar feeling first and middle names. [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] like you suggested is gorgeous too.
With [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] my favourites from your list are:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is nice, just wondering how it would age with a child/picturing it on a resume and different scenarios.
I also like [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]. Not sure it fits with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] like others would.
