So I came across an old, old newspaper clipping while going through some old family things this morning, and it features a photograph of a class of students from 1921. The class includes my great-grandmother, which is why we have it, and I thought I might share the names of the students listed below the photograph. [name_f]My[/name_f] great-grandmother was 9 years old in 1921, so I assume these students were all roughly that age – some look a little older, so maybe 9-12 years of age? It doesn’t specify what class or, rather, what grade this is. But then I’m not sure how this little school divided itself 100 years ago – it may have been quite different!

One of my cats is called [name_m]Hershel[/name_m] so that’s obviously my favourite
