I was perusing one of my favorite sites, Etsy, today looking to buy some monogrammed items for my 2 yr old, [name]Gigi[/name].
There are pages of samples of cute things to order for your child. After about 5 minutes, I stopped thinking about items but was gawking at the names! I had to share with my fellow berries, enjoy…
I live by a couple who recently had a girl that they named [name]Raelynn[/name].
Out of all those names [name]Wilma[/name] is the cutest, and I usually don’t like [name]Wilma[/name] too much.
That terrible moment when you see one of your favourite names spelled “unique”. [name]Dalton[/name] you don’t have an h, you are perfectly fine without h.
I’m really not a fan of the -aylee names. Or adding unnecessary letters to names (Dhalton, [name]Logann[/name]). I really like [name]Brenner[/name] though. I’m wondering if Kygan is a variant spelling of [name]Keegan[/name]…?
Some of those are just plain hideous, I’m sorry, but Graylee? What could possibly be cute about that? Ugh, Jazzlyn, [name]Braelyn[/name], [name]Raelynn[/name]…so tired of names like these.
I don’t mind [name]Dalton[/name] and [name]Wilma[/name] is adorable, though.
From the list, I don’t mind [name]Wilma[/name] (I can’t imagine meeting one! Would love to actually) and I can even sort of get behind [name]Gannon[/name] and Hatcher, because they at least look sort of like names. [name]Even[/name] if Hatcher is a little…eggy. But the others? Good grief.
Wow! Those name are bad! But fear not! I posted a link above to a page I like on Facebook. She sells her work on Etsy, but posts photos of completed names plaques to her facebook page. The photo is of matching plaques for 4 brothers: [name]Bridger[/name], [name]Huxley[/name], [name]Talmage[/name], and [name]Ogden[/name]. Their names really stood out!
