Had to cover for my mom by volunteering at my brothers’ after [elementary] school Lego Club today and there were tons of interesting names! I love when kids are forced to wear name tags.
Interestingly, on the whole the boys had much more unusual names than the girls, which I feel like is not the norm.
Scattered in among the Sophias and Jacks were:
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Evonne[/name_f]
[name_f]Gina[/name_f]
[name_f]Luella[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
Maryn (sister of [name_m]Zane[/name_m])
Mriganka
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f]
Nubia (a volunteer mom)
[name_f]Sabina[/name_f]
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] is a pretty cool double name. [name_m]How[/name_m] was he pronouncing [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]? [name_f]Gina[/name_f], Alrich, and [name_m]Hyrum[/name_m] are very surprising on kids of that age group. Thanks for sharing!
@[name_f]Emily[/name_f], I’m pretty sure he says it ex-avier. Which ordinarily I don’t like but in this case I think it flows better that way. Also, [name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] was like the tiniest, cutest child, which was a fun contrast with his huge amount of name.
My brothers have since informed me that they also have friends named [name_m]Nixon[/name_m] and [name_m]Dyson[/name_m] who were not present for this week’s lego club. Oh dear.
