I was doing some browsing on Project Nursery just for fun, and I was seeing a lot of names so I decided to compile the first five pages’ worth for you all. Have fun.
I did a double take when I saw [name_m]Decker[/name_m]. I thought it was the name of the style or a brand of nursery furniture, but then I saw the DDD initials on the wall and frowned.
Wow, some cool names and some strange names for sure.

[name_u]Avery[/name_u] – I don’t actually like this name, but I love seeing it on a boy. I’ve seen it on boys before, it’s just nice.
[name_m]Maverick[/name_m] (brother to [name_f]Liesl[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariella[/name_f]) – I like this one in the middle and I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] his sisters names.
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] (twin to [name_u]Hollis[/name_u]) – I love it but pronounce [name_m]BRAHM[/name_m] like [name_m]Bram[/name_m] Stoker
[name_f]Liesel[/name_f] ([name_f]Leelee[/name_f]) – I love [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]. So sweet and beautiful
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] – Very streamlined and pretty. I sort of like it as a nn for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] – prefer it [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but it’s gorgeous and I love the meaning despite the popularity
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] – [name_f]Adore[/name_f] this name and it’s connections

Yilmaz – apparently, this means “undaunted” in Turkish so that’s actually kind of cool
[name_m]Decker[/name_m] Darling – O_O facepalm “Deck 'er, darling!”
[name_f]Maleah[/name_f] [name_f]Mazey[/name_f] – I strongly dislike the alliteration here and the spellings of everything and the flow in general
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_u]Simone[/name_u]-LaRoux – [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I hate [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] on a girl, this combo is awesome. And I have a soft spot for LaRoux
Zeynep Taga – Zeynep is apparently the Turkish for of Zaynab – From the Arabic name of a fragrant flowering tree, which is probably from زين (zayn) meaning “beauty”.
[name_m]Jennings[/name_m] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] ([name_f]Jaycie[/name_f]) – I dislike [name_m]Jennings[/name_m] on anyone but especially a girl.
I was researching [name_m]Aren[/name_m], and apparently it’s a Danish name? [name_m]Aren[/name_m] is from Turkey like Yilmaz and Zeynep, so a Danish name seems a little odd…
[name_f]Gwenyth[/name_f] – It’s not my favorite [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] name, but it’s still lovely
[name_f]Asha[/name_f] [name_f]Lea[/name_f] – I don’t like [name_f]Lea[/name_f] with it, but I love [name_f]Asha[/name_f] and have an adorable red head cousin named [name_f]Asha[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] – I don’t like either but they work great together
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] – [name_f]Love[/name_f] it! She’s on my own list
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] – I don’t like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] with it, but [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is lovely
