Names from the Beach

I went to the beach the other day, and I heard a couple names that stuck out. They were

Amelio/Melio (pronounced like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] with an ‘o’) and [name_m]Ace[/name_m]

Their not brothers or even friends, I just heard their names among the usual common ones that you hear everywhere and they just sort of stuck out. What do you guys think of the names? [name_f]My[/name_f] boyfriend loves [name_m]Ace[/name_m], but I’m not sure about it and neither of us care for Amelio.

I know a little boy called “[name_m]Emilio[/name_m]”- basically the same pronunciation. I think it’s a nice name, but it does come across as feminine in many English speaking countries.

I know an Acelin who goes by [name_m]Ace[/name_m]. I didn’t like it to start but it grew on me. It was cute when he was learning to talk and would tell everyone ‘I’m [name_m]Ace[/name_m]’.

I also know an adult, [name_m]Emilio[/name_m]. He is from [name_f]Italy[/name_f]. I think it is nice, but nms
