I hit the jackpot today while rummaging through a trunk in my parents basement…I found an old folder filled with family tree info/lists with tons of family names.
Without further ado, here are the ones that stood out (all are either Scandinavian or Italian):
[name_f]Perle[/name_f] (boy)
[name_m]Arland[/name_m] (boy)
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f]
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m] (love this one but I think that boy band ruined it…)
[name_m]Aksel[/name_m]
Camina
Imma
[name_f]Sabina[/name_f]
[name_f]Concetta[/name_f]
Pilo
[name_m]Rafaelo[/name_m]
What do you think?
My favorites are [name_f]Sabina[/name_f] & [name_m]Arland[/name_m].
My favorites are [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] (although it seems like a very young or very old person name to me in a way), and [name_f]Cami[/name_f] would be a cute nn for Camina. I agree that [name_m]Aksel[/name_m] would be a nice middle name choice for a boy. I like [name_f]Sabina[/name_f] but somehow feel that something is missing.
My great aunt’s name was [name_f]Concetta[/name_f]! It’s actually pronounced con-[name_m]CHET[/name_m]-a, which I always found very appealing. Her parents were from [name_f]Italy[/name_f], so while everyone in the family used her given name, in school and with other “Americans” she went by [name_u]Connie[/name_u].
Her sisters were [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] ([name_f]Sarah[/name_f]) and [name_f]Maria[/name_f] ([name_f]Mary[/name_f]), and her brother was [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] ([name_m]Chick[/name_m]!).
