Names I “made up” in middle school

Before I had a NB account, I would still try to do the challenges that were to create a name. Here are some of the ones I “came up” with (some of them I didn’t realize were actual names, whoops). I also kept the original pronunciations or descriptions that I wrote. Personally, I wouldn’t really use any of these names, but it’s funny to look back at the names I was trying to make up.

Aivilo- (EYE-vil-o or AYE-vil-o) reverse of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
Jakoia- (jah-KOY-ah)
Isabea- (is-a-BAE-a or is-a-BEE-a) instead of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or isabella
Oaklet
Bila- (BEE-la) if you like mila but want a nickname like bee
Aralea- (AIR-ah-lee or air-ah-LEE-ah)) not quite [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] but not quite Auriela or [name_f]Leah[/name_f]
Insley- (IN-zlee) we have [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] and [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u], so this is a shorter but still cute variation
Fira- (FEER-ah) sounds like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] but looks like fire
Royland- we can revive [name_u]Roy[/name_u] or honor a [name_u]Roy[/name_u] with this one
Dashton- [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] and dashiell meet
Islabel- (EYE-lah-bell) a combo of [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
Oakslind- (OAKS-lynd) another cute way to get a nn oak or oaks
Haon- (HAY-on) this cool name is really [name_u]Noah[/name_u] backwards
Amme/Ammie (AM-mee) not quite [name_f]Annie[/name_f], not quite [name_f]Amy[/name_f], but not quite [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. Could be a nn for [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]
[name_f]Liva[/name_f]- (LIV-va) we have [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and Livi/Liv, so why not [name_f]Liva[/name_f]?
Qui- (kwee) short and simple like [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_f]Fia[/name_f]- like [name_f]Tia[/name_f] or [name_f]Mia[/name_f]
Billix- Could revive [name_m]Bill[/name_m] or [name_u]Billy[/name_u] as nicknamed
[name_f]Florie[/name_f]- like [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] or flora but with an (ee) ending
Emson- like a shortened [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] but still has nn’s em or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ori[/name_u]- (OH-[name_f]Ree[/name_f]) similar to [name_u]Ari[/name_u]
Ette- (Et) this one syllable name can get nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
Flosia- (FLOW-Sha) can have nn flo
Fridley- (FRID-lee) I see it usable for both boys and girls, somewhat like [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
Zowen- (ZO-en) sounds like [name_u]Owen[/name_u] but is the more masculine [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
Quinley- [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] combined
[name_f]Eastlyn[/name_f]- a more feminine [name_u]Easton[/name_u]
[name_m]Xeno[/name_m]- (ZEE-no) cool x name
[name_u]Mako[/name_u]- (MAKE-oh) like the [name_u]Easton[/name_u] mako bat or mako mermaids tv show
[name_f]Zelia[/name_f]- (ZEE-lee-ah) similar to [name_f]Celia[/name_f] but with a z, as in [name_f]Zadie[/name_f].
[name_f]Corona[/name_f]- (core-OH-nah) this fictional city could make a good name with nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f] {Not in 2020}
[name_f]Eda[/name_f]- (EE-dah) we have [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], and [name_f]Edie[/name_f], so why not [name_f]Eda[/name_f]? It could be a nickname for [name_f]Edith[/name_f].
