so earlier today my grandma and I got locked out of and while we waited for my mom to arrive with the spare key, I made some name combos because I was board. what do you think of the name combos I came up with while incredibly stressed? (I was also self conscious at the time because I tried to squeeze through my grandma’s bedroom window and couldn’t fit)

you have some beautiful combinations here! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are:
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I love [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle name. I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] ties them together really well.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is beautiful!
[name_f]Rainey[/name_f] [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Rainey[/name_f] is such a cool name and I feel like [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] is unexpected
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is gorgeous +
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] because I love the nickname [name_u]Rori[/name_u] for a little girl, and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is one of my favorites

I also love [name_u]Rori[/name_u], it’s such a cool nickname for a girl

@coolauntieviolet I know! I would also use it as a standalone name. But only for a girl and only spelled [name_u]Rori[/name_u]. I know an adult male [name_u]Rory[/name_u] who is in his late 60’s probably. He’s an absolutely wonderful person, but the traditional spelling just makes me think of him and nothing else. So I’d have to use [name_u]Rori[/name_u] for a future daughter.

They’re all nice but [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] jumped out at me and is my favorite. I really [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] and feel like I don’t see it on a lot of lists, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is such a gorgeous elegant name, and the flow of all three together is great!

[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] ~ I love [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] she’s a sweet biblical classic that feels friendly and bubbly. [name_f]Diana[/name_f] sounds lovely in the middle name slot and I think [name_f]Mae[/name_f] adds to the sweet feel.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] ~ I adore [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] she’s a favourite of mine and my daughter’s middle name. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is beautiful sweet timeless classic. Finally I think [name_f]Hope[/name_f] rounds the name off beautifully.
[name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] ~ such a fun southern [name_f]Belle[/name_f] name that feels friendly and nostalgic.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] ~ [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is such a sweet timeless classic that has the ultimately LBD feel. [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is a lovely middle name she’s bright with a summery selling cloudy lemonade at a vintage stand she sounds fab. [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is one of my favourite names and sounds sweet with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f].
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] ~ I love [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] she’s a beautiful mythological choice with the charming meaning ‘weaver’ and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is beautiful in the middle name slot. I also love [name_u]Anne[/name_u]!

They are all beautiful. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are:
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]: None of the names individually are my fave, but as a combo, they are
[name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]: [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] is Neutral, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is a no, and I’m not a fan of virtue names. Stick them in a combo and it’s a different story.
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Susan[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]:

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]: So pretty

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]: I like slightly mismatched combos. For me, it’s about the flow, not whether the names are too different. This combo flows beautifully.
The reason I don’t really like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] on it’s own, usually as a first, is because of people instinctively calling her [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. What I do like as a nn for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is either Cath (typical), or [name_u]Kitty[/name_u].

I love the nickname [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
I respect that opinion.
Normally the reason I don’t like a name is the imagery. [name_f]My[/name_f] imagery for [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is popular highschool girl who, in the real world, isn’t that great. It’s strange because the name [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is really elegant and graceful. it’s weird how a nickname can have different vibes than the full name.
I have no idea why I like Cath or even [name_f]Cathy[/name_f] because it’s so generic.

[name_f]Kate[/name_f] makes me think of my best friend who passed away last [name_u]February[/name_u]
I’m sorry for your loss.
It’s great if you find comfort in a name and if it makes you happy, it makes me happy too.
