Names I'll Never Get to Use

As I’m sitting here sorting through pictures of my 8 week-old son, I’m feeling a bit sad about the loss of names I’ll never get to use. He is our third and final child. We have no regrets about finishing our family and I’m sure I don’t want to be pregnant again, but I do regret that I’ll never get to name another baby! So, here are my “first tier” choices (names I’d actually use, not just that I like)…

Girls
[name]Eliza[/name] (what we would have named our third if he had been a girl)
[name]Adeline[/name] (a close contender for all three)

[name]Imogen[/name] (a guilty pleasure - my husband wouldn’t have agreed)

Nice names. Which names did you actually use (if you don’t mind sharing)?

Also, you could always start adopting and naming cats or something :slight_smile:

I like a lot of those- I think we have a pretty similar style. Like samo, I’m curious, what names did you use? And you could get a bunch of fish and use those names. Or a puppy, and name it something like [name]Georgiana[/name] [name]Violet[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] (last name) and [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Henry[/name] [name]Graham[/name]!

I feel exactly the same as you! I am so happy with our family and the name choices we’ve made but our youngest is now 6 months old and I know exactly that feeling you are describing. We have very similar taste in names and my list of names that won’t get used looks very similar :slight_smile:

I love your girls names! [name]Eliza[/name] is our Top contender for a future daughter :slight_smile: also love [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Adeline[/name].
I’m very much looking forward to naming our future children, and I’m starting to get my husband interested also hehe

I know exactly how you feel and what you mean. We have 3 kids and will probrably have no more but want to. We have a long list of name’s we absolutley would love to use but haven’t had the chance too especially with boys name because we have all girls even though were happy with the name choices we’ve made.

I really like a lot of your list. My favourites are [name]Violet[/name], [name]Imogen[/name] & [name]Felix[/name]. :slight_smile:

I REALLY like the name [name]Violet[/name]! :slight_smile: Haha I don’t have any kids yet, but I’m sure I’ll be disappointed once I’m done with them and run into other names I love.
