Names in a Similar Vein

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries,

DH and I recently found out that we’re expecting our first child. We’re slowly beginning to talk about names (DH has all of like one suggestion), and I think the fact that my list is so eclectic is a bit overwhelming for DH as it doesn’t give him any sort of focus. So, I’m trying to narrow down my LOOONG list into something more manageable and hopefully more consistent while focusing on the types of names I think DH is most likely to respond well to.

So far, my shortened list consists of:

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Greer[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kenna[/name_f]

What names do you think are missing from this list?

What was DH’s suggestion? Does it lend itself to a specific style that could help you narrow down your list?

I don’t think your list is too eclectic. It seems to fall into two categories: feminine and frilly (Magnolia, Tallulah, Adelaide) and short and sweet (Thea, Blair, Sloan).

If I were going to suggest any additional names I might include:

Alida
Briar
Cora
Sutton

From your signature I really like Magnolia Greer. It seems to have the best of both worlds.
