Names I've Heard Recently

Hey Berries!

I just wanted to know your thoughts of these names I’ve recently heard.

[name]Estrella[/name] (Es-STRAY-ah)
[name]Evelina[/name]
Evelini
Kite: Yes, Kite (middle name)
Adanisah ([name]Ah[/name]-da-NEES-sah)
Senelah ([name]Sen[/name]-nell-lah)

Your thoughts?

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

[name]Estrella[/name] – I like it…kind of. It’s stepping directly into the ‘guilty pleasure’ zone.
[name]Evelina[/name] – I like it a lot, but prefer [name]Evelyn[/name]. This is a very nice name, though.
Evelini – Sounds spunky. A guilty pleasure.
Kite – I don’t like it. It’s an odd one. A very odd one…
Adanisah – I don’t like this one, either. It’s an overkill.
Senelah – I think the name above and this one are very similar to style. Therefore, I must fess that I, unfortunately, don’t like this one.

[name]Estrella[/name] - a bit too Hispanic for me, but I would be fascinated to meet one! And I think a lot of people would say eh-STRELL-ah, but it is very pretty.

[name]Evelina[/name] - love. This was on my long list at one point, nn [name]Evie[/name]. I still really like it.

Evelini - intriguing! I sort of like it. It seems to combine both [name]Evelina[/name]/[name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Eleni[/name], two favorites of mine. I’m not sure I’d use it, though.

Kite - I got excited because I thought it was [name]Kit[/name] (which I really love). It sort of reminds me of my elementary school Spanish teacher, who couldn’t pronounce [name]Kate[/name] so he just called my friend Cake. I wouldn’t do it.

Adanisah - too complicated. It looks very made-up to me, too.

Senelah - not my style. It does remind me of [name]Selah[/name], though… and while [name]Selah[/name]'s not my style, either, I can appreciate it.

A Kite is a kind of bird. I actually really like this as a nn.
