I’ve recently added [name_m]Reef[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] to my list (I adore him!). He seems a bit of a departure from my usual [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]-[name_u]Everett[/name_u]-[name_m]Grant[/name_m]-[name_m]Casper[/name_m]-[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]-[name_m]Samuel[/name_m]-[name_m]Jack[/name_m]-[name_m]Peter[/name_m] style, but there’s just something about him. I love that it reminds me of the beach, but he just seems so cuddly and cool!
Anyway, I figured it’d be fun to explore this style a little further, to see if there are others like him that I might equally love. Stylistically, what sort of names would you say mesh well with [name_m]Reef[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u]? I don’t need a combo, per se, just individual name ideas. I’m curious what everyone will come up with.
I really like it! never even heard of the name [name_m]Reef[/name_m]? interesting, unsual and cool . I love [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] as a long, more common middle to balance it

I love a lot of those, actually ([name_u]Auden[/name_u], [name_m]Bram[/name_m], [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], and [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] in particular!), but hadn’t really thought of them in the same category! I was thinking of [name_m]Reef[/name_m] more as a surfer name, as was thinking of him with brothers named [name_m]Brody[/name_m], [name_u]Elias[/name_u], and [name_m]Koa[/name_m], maybe.
I’m not seeing the vision but that doesn’t mean anything!

I think @gr19 had a lot of really good ideas! I too see [name_m]Reef[/name_m] as more of a surfer/mariner type, and (to me anyway) he fits well with names in your signature like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], and

I’m glad you both see [name_m]Reef[/name_m] that way, because some of those names are huge favorites of my own that just aren’t in my signature right now (but definitely on my list!)–[name_u]Dane[/name_u], [name_m]Brody[/name_m]/[name_m]Brodie[/name_m], [name_m]Zane[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Judah[/name_m], [name_u]Bo[/name_u] (well, as a nn for [name_m]Boaz[/name_m]–does that count? :)), [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Auden[/name_u], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_m]Bram[/name_m], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], [name_m]Matthias[/name_m], [name_u]Harbor[/name_u], etc. I hadn’t really thought of them fitting well with [name_m]Reef[/name_m] before!
I am also massively crushing on Hawaiian names for boys lately, too, and have Makoa, Makaia, Ikaika, Iokua, [name_m]Ikaia[/name_m], etc. in my sights. I’m not sure I’d use a Hawaiian name up front (with the exception of maybe [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] and [name_m]Koa[/name_m], although I love [name_f]Kaia[/name_f]'s Scandinavian roots, too!), but I’ve been considering them as middle names. I especially love [name_m]Ikaia[/name_m], Ikaika, and Iokua lately (and Kekoa!).
