Names picked up at work & school

Since I deal with a lot of children (and teens in school), some of their names strike me as rather odd! Not to mention I go in [name_u]IB[/name_u] and I work as a cashier.
At work these are some of the names I’ve encountered
[name_m]Mads[/name_m]
[name_m]Mikkel[/name_m]
[name_m]Morten[/name_m]
[name_m]Johan[/name_m]
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_m]Frederik[/name_m]
[name_u]Kristian[/name_u]/[name_m]Christian[/name_m]
[name_f]Silke[/name_f]

And at school

[name_f]Nanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Nelli[/name_f]
[name_m]Andreas[/name_m]
[name_m]Anders[/name_m]
[name_f]Nadja[/name_f]
[name_m]Abdallah[/name_m]
Davidiev (how do you pronounce this? I go in his class, and he just keep saying ‘I’m Artho’ [Artjo])
Niahm (Neev)
[name_f]Megan[/name_f] (Mey-gan)
[name_f]Michelle[/name_f]
Rikke
Ajla
[name_m]Arun[/name_m]

Have you picked up any names you got stuck in your mind? And what do you think of these?

With the exception of [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], the rest of those names are not my style.

We have “normal names” in my neck of the woods (well, most of us!). [name_f]One[/name_f] of my friends in school is named [name_f]Alysha[/name_f]. I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] that spelling of [name_f]Alicia[/name_f]!!!

Most of the names from my school (Not [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Anders[/name_m], [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] & Rikke) are actually pretty uncommon names! Did you watch the movie with “The [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and The Hound”, when you were younger? In Denmark it’s called [name_m]Mads[/name_m] & [name_m]Mikkel[/name_m], which are the two names, on a couple of twins, we regular see at the store.
That is a lovable spelling! Wow, I really love that name.

I like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], [name_m]Christian[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Anders[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]Frederik[/name_m], but I prefer the spelling [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]. [name_m]Johan[/name_m] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] aren’t really my style, but I think they’re interesting names. The rest don’t do much for me. Very cool list! There’s such a wide range of names listed.

I love the name [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], though I prefer [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]. For me, those name you have listed are common, as I grew up as an [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], in an ocean of Christians & Frederiks. ^^

Nice to see [name_m]Anders[/name_m]!

It is a really common name here. I know five-six with the name [name_m]Anders[/name_m] and one is my uncle! ^^
