It’s not for anything in particular, I’m just curious but are there names similar to the words Psychosis, schizophrenia or disorder? I really don’t care about gender but if there are for boys would be better. Thank you so much in advance. :brown_heart:

I’m not aware of any names that are similar to these words in sound, which is probably due to them being made up such unique sound and syllables. Psyche is the only one, I guess.

Have to agree, in the nicest way possible, it’s not very thoughtful of people who deal with things such as psychosis, schizophrenia, and disorders to seek out such names. But, I understand that that was just a misunderstanding on your part. :two_hearts:

Oh, I see! Then this question makes more sense. I just think it came off as insensitive or really random and thus kind of creepy? because you didn’t mention any background on why, or that you do deal with these things. I understand the curiosity now, but I’m just not aware of any names besides [name_f]Psyche[/name_f] similar to these words, sorry.

It didn’t upset me. I think you asked politely. I don’t see what the problem is. I have found my posts getting flagged a few times on here. Maybe if you posted in the writers thread it would have been deemed more acceptable.

Thank you but I kind of understand them since it’s somewhat inappropriate (?) and a very random question. Maybe they thought I was the person that wanted to look cReEpY or something like that, but thank you anyways :))). (also im going by he/him pronounce but it doesn’t matter)

I think this is an interesting topic as well. I suffer from social anxiety and psychosis myself, so I can appreciate the curiosity and need for dark humor, although I’m frequently confronted with rejection from societal norms, but I really think that comes from people who mean well and mean to protect people that suffer from mental illness, but they don’t realize that by not letting us mark ourselves as we may choose to do, that can place us in an even more shunned and restricted place. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but I felt the need to share this. I don’t have any suggestions for names, but I’m eager to see what others may be able to come up with.
