What I don’t like, or am trying to like more than I do, is the sound. The “r” and “d” sounds, and especially the fact that it ends in -a is slightly off putting. This is a call for aid and a challenge - [name]Cordelia[/name] seems like a NB darling, are there any others that are similar, but with a less clunky sound?!
Well, this had a "d’ sound in it (but no “r” or “a”!), but how about [name]Isolde[/name]? (As in the play [name]Tristan[/name] and [name]Isolde[/name])
I think [name]Ophelia[/name] is a lot like [name]Cordelia[/name] and has vintage charm and a literary connection. Others:

#1 if you’re in the US: [name]Imogen[/name] (also Shakespearean, and with 106 born in 2011, slightly more rare than [name]Cordelia[/name] with 177) #2 (#1 if in the UK): [name]Coraline[/name] (slightly more popular with 227 born in 2011 in the US, but just 4 born in the UK) #3 [name]Hermione[/name] ([name]Shakespeare[/name] long before Rowling! 55 born in the US, 118 in the UK).
