I feel [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] works well. I’ve always thought of it as a strong name. Also, for some reason, I feel like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] would be nice, aswell.
Does the person who gets this premonition want to share this information? Are we talking about a reluctant prophet who wishes the child could live an ordinary life and would thus suggest an under-the-radar name as a way of prolonging her innocence, or protecting her identity? Or is this someone who has been on the watch for a “chosen one” for a while and wants to bestow a name that keeps the heavy mantle of being a savior at the forefront of the girl’s mind as she grows, learns, and trains for her destiny?
My vote would be for a rather simple, unassuming, but strong name instead of something with lots of flourish:
[name_u]Rue[/name_u] (regret)
[name_f]Luz[/name_f] (light)
Rho (17th letter of the Greek alphabet, signifying density in physics - could be thought of as having a “weighty” or “substantial” meaning, as a result)
[name_f]Tess[/name_f] - (to harvest)
[name_u]Cass[/name_u] (prophetess)
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] (healer)
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] (new)
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] (pure)
[name_f]Petra[/name_f] (stone)
[name_f]Mina[/name_f]
[name_f]Hanna/name_f (grace)
[name_f]Delta[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] (glory)
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] (divine gift)
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] Somerled
This came to mind immediately. Strong, no-fuss but powerful and interesting. This girl will save the world!
