i saw a thread saying names ruined by teaching, and i wanted to know if any names had been ruined by ex-friends, students, teachers, popular/mean kids, family members, etc.

[name_u]Avery[/name_u]. There was a girl named [name_u]Avery[/name_u] that went to my elementary school. She wasn’t mean or rude or anything. She was mentally disabled, and didn’t talk very much. The reason the name is ruined is because once in fifth grade she pooped in the sink in the girl’s bathroom though, and that’s what comes to mind when I hear the name.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]. I knew a girl named [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. As with [name_u]Avery[/name_u], she wasn’t a bad person at all. She was a couple years younger than me, and I was just annoyed that she was always there when I was at my friend’s house- the friend’s mom was paid to take care of her after school. She didn’t do anything particularly annoying, but I was just annoyed because I didn’t know her, she was younger than me, and I had to let her play with me and my friend. And she comes to mind when I hear the name [name_u]Piper[/name_u].
[name_f]Meryem[/name_f]. The one I know is really unpleasant.

I really loved these names but having to say them constantly would be painful.
William, Liam: was never my favorite but I helped care for a little William “Liam” and he was a handful. I can’t hear these names normally. I can only hear his mom screeching “WILL-LEE-UMMM!!!”
Katie: recently ruined by a catty youtuber.
Alexi/Alexa/Alexis: girls at school plus the obvious
E names: too matchy with my son’s name
-per names (Jasper, Juniper, etc): bad with surname
[name_u]Willow[/name_u]: I don’t think I would consider it, but I know a truly horrid person with this name.
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u]- A girl who bullied me in middle school, called me anorexic, and made fun of me for liking an [name_f]Asian[/name_f] boy in a nearly all white school
[name_m]Jake[/name_m]- I’ve know too many mean Jake/Jacob’s to like the name
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]- I knew a shallow girl named [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] who was very rude to me, she was also very rich and I remember her getting a brand new [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] for her 16th birthday and crashing it into a sonic sign
