My wife insists that any name we choose has a nickname to go along with it. We are looking for something a little bit different and my wife is a school teacher so any popular names are going to be shot down because she will inevitably know a child in her school that has the smae name and we are trying to stay away form that.

I like the nickname [name]Lonni[/name] ([name]Lonnee[/name], [name]Lonnie[/name], etc.) but I am having trouble coming up with a full name that can be used with this. I have a friend whose wife’s name is [name]Avalon[/name] who goes by [name]Lonnie[/name] so I want to exclude that as we are looking for something unique to our future baby girl.

Please let me know your thoughts and oppinions, I greatly appreciate the help!!

Your daughter and your wife’s friend will share the nickname ([name]Lonni[/name]/[name]Lonnie[/name]) anyway, so I don’t see what’s the problem with sharing the full name, too. I think [name]Avalon[/name] is lovely.
