This is incredibly subjective and tells more about you then about the name choice of the original poster. No offense meant. [name_m]Just[/name_m] what sounds nice to me may not sound nice to you, but thank you for posting your opinions because it makes me think. I’m in love with certain names. They go well with my sons name and our hyphenated surname.
Again, no offense meant.
I’m not sure what you’re asking with this post!
I think in some ways, yes, an accent or personal preference can effect how a name flows when someone says but, I think generally when talking about how a name flows people are referring to linguistically, how easy it is for someone’s tongue to form the sounds in that order or how likely it is to be run together by a speaker. That’s not always an opinion, sometimes it’s a fact that certain names will be awkward or difficult or uncomfortable for the majority of a population speaking a language or dialect to say.
I’m not asking anything, a post doesn’t need to ask a question does it? i think it’s still highly subjective, it greatly depends on accent and where you live.
