I am 28 weeks and me and my husband are having the hardest time coming up with a name for our son. So I need some help. We ae looking for a name that is not common but not crazy at the same time. We named our 1st son [name]Tristan[/name] so I guess something that goes well with that. Any ideas? We were going to go with the name [name]Reece[/name] but I am having second thoughts because so many girls have that name these days. So I need some other ideas.
[name]Hi[/name]!
Some names that have [name]Tristan[/name]'s handsome and romantic feel to me:
[name]Dashiell[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
[name]Willem[/name]
[name]Xavier[/name]
If you’re looking for something more along the lines of [name]Reese[/name]:
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Abbott[/name]
[name]Donovan[/name] (same N ending, though)
[name]Grant[/name]
[name]Miles[/name]
[name]Pierce[/name]
[name]Reed[/name]/[name]Reid[/name]
[name]Sawyer[/name]
[name]Shepherd[/name]
Good luck!
[name]Julian[/name]/[name]Julien[/name]
[name]Julius[/name]
[name]Rupert[/name]
[name]Reuben[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Archie[/name]
[name]Jacoby[/name]
[name]Stirling[/name]/[name]Sterling[/name]
All the best!
[name]Rowan[/name]?
I actually think [name]Reece[/name] is a really great choice. It doesn’t really matter if it’s sort of becoming popular with the girls… it’s a boys’ name! and goes really great with [name]Tristan[/name]. i think you should reconsider.
I think [name]Tristan[/name] and [name]Reece[/name] go great together! It’s still very much a boy’s name. You could also use the [name]Rhys[/name] spelling which seperates it further from Ms. Witherspoon.
other ideas-
[name]Graham[/name]
[name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Seth[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
I agree with lis09. [name]Rhys[/name] is a more masculine way of spelling it and will separate it from the girl’s. If you’re still unsure, I think [name]Holden[/name] sounds great with [name]Tristan[/name]. It’s handsome, not really common, and it doesn’t sound crazy. Perhaps [name]Holden[/name] [name]Reece[/name]? And if you’re dead set on [name]Reece[/name], you can try
[name]Reece[/name] [name]Xavier[/name]
[name]Reece[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Reece[/name] [name]William[/name]
(or [name]Rhys[/name], whichever you prefer.)
I like [name]Tristan[/name] with [name]Gareth[/name], [name]Percival[/name], [name]Mark[/name] - but they are all names that existed in the same time period, and in the legends about [name]Tristan[/name] and [name]Isolde[/name], so I’m not sure if that will make it a no-go, but I don’t think that anyone would notice the theme, if you would consider it a theme.
Good luck!!
