Oppressive virtue names I cannot stand - [name_f]CHASTITY[/name_f]? What is this the 8th century? !!!
Also when parents name their twins really similar names. [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] etc, I mean did you just want one baby or something? Is it incomprehensible that your children are separate entities? And even just on a practical note did you not think about daily situations of ‘’[name_f]Bella[/name_f] give [name_f]Ella[/name_f] back her shoes, [name_f]Bella[/name_f], I’m serious, [name_f]Ella[/name_f], I mean [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] needs them. [name_f]Bella[/name_f], what?‘’

The only thing that makes me angry is when parents take a simple name and spell it as complicated as they can think of. ([name_m]Jaxson[/name_m], Addysyn, Airwrecka etc)
Other things that annoy me, but don’t necessarily make me angry:
Matchy sibling/twin names- [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_m]Jason[/name_m], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_u]Casey[/name_u] and [name_u]Stacey[/name_u]
Boys names on girls ([name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u])
Last names on girls ([name_u]Porter[/name_u], [name_m]Gaines[/name_m], [name_u]Parker[/name_u])
I rather like [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m], becsusec it’s close to the original name without being complicated, but I cannot stand [name_m]Jaxson[/name_m]. Why? Because X makes the CKS sound, so it makes no sense to throw in snother X. Unfortunately, [name_m]Jaxsin[/name_m] and [name_m]Jaxen[/name_m] also exist. Since when has Sin made the same sound as [name_m]Son[/name_m]?
Those are the only times variations a nnoy me is when they don’t make senses.
I’m not Jewish, but I know a little bit about the controversy behind [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]. Admittedly, I think it has a nice sound, but knowing what I do, I couldn’t ever use it. If somebody says, “You’re naming your son [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]? [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t you know what that name means to Jewish people?” And your only excuse is, “But I like it. It sounds nice. And I’m not Jewish.” Then you’re going to sound ignorant, selfish, and flat-out stupid. Mostly, I try to avoid names that have any sort of racial or religious significance. I read the article about the crazed Nazi/devil worshipper who named his son [name_m]Adolf[/name_m] Hitler, and I would encourage anyone to read it if they’re especially in the mood to be sickened.
I want to know what everyone thinks about the name [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], especially with the nickname [name_f]Lilah[/name_f], and most people I know first associate it with songs about it rather than the biblical story. But I’m not sure if I want to put it on my list, and I’m curious to hear other people’s opinions.
