After 3 years of infertility and 3 miscarriages (during IVF) we are adopting. For our boy name, we like “[name_m]Ephram[/name_m]” ([name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]) because in the Bible it means “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”
We don’t necessarily need a Biblical name but are there any other names that have similar meanings? {I had chronic liver disease from childhood until a transplant at age 22, some serious surgeries and near-death experiences, etc … so something with a similar definition would be so meaningful.}
Middle name is a family name, [name_u]James[/name_u]
Our angel babies are [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].
Thank you!
I’m so sorry for your losses. Your babies’ names are beautiful and congratulations on adopting!

Wow! I am so sorry for your loss, but congratulations on adopting
I literally just posted earlier today asking about [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m], I am sure it is a name we will use, I love it and the meaning because our 3rd child [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] has a few scary health issues and is quite a miracle. His middle name is [name_u]Jude[/name_u] for [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], Patron saint for delivery from and during desperate times.I do not know how religious you are but [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m] the new martyr has quite a story of suffering and then healing. [name_u]James[/name_u] goes perfectly as middle, I also like the suggestion of [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
