When coming up with a name for my daughter I was surprised by some of the names that my husband, father, grandfather & male friends really loved or kept suggesting.
Anyone have a list of names that men love?

My husband’s faves include [name]Lily[/name], [name]Freya[/name], [name]Mona[/name] and [name]Oona[/name].
I quite like [name]Lily[/name] and would use it.
I quite like [name]Freya[/name] but am not sure about using it.
I quite like [name]Mona[/name] but have a bad association.
I adore [name]Oona[/name], but we’re both pretty sure it’s too much for us.
[name]Dawn[/name] was sooo popular with the guys in the 60’s. I think is was the Four [name]Season[/name]'s song that made it popular. Anyway…I always disliked it. The boys liked the name [name]Lisa[/name] a lot too. [name]One[/name] boy I know went on and on about how he was going to name his first daughter [name]Lisa[/name] [name]Dawn[/name]…or was it [name]Dawn[/name] [name]Marie[/name]? Yes, it was [name]Dawn[/name] [name]Marie[/name].
My husband likes names he associates with beautiful or strong women. The two names he’s suggested have been [name]Ingrid[/name] (as in Michaelson) and [name]Faye[/name] (as in a character on Cowboy Bebop).
