Does this bother you?
For example: [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] (sounds like you’re saying the letters M E)
[name_f]Katie[/name_f] (sounds like you’re saying the letters K T)
Nope, not at all.
No! I go by [name_f]Bee[/name_f] percent of the time since I was a baby, and everyone compliments me on how cute / sweet/ easy to remember my name is
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite (other than my name ) is probably [name_f]Em[/name_f]!
I like it.
It doesn’t bother me!
I like it! [name_f]Essie[/name_f] (SC) is one that comes to mind, which works very nicely as a nickname for the young Sarah-Cla!re I know.
[name_f]My[/name_f] son thought my niece, [name_f]Elle[/name_f] was just “L” for years
It doesn’t bother me… I actually really enjoy those names. [name_u]Casey[/name_u] (KC) also comes to mind.
It doesn’t bother me! I know a couple of people named [name_f]Kaycee[/name_f] (“K-C”) and I hardly notice! I also really like the name [name_m]Ian[/name_m], which sounds a bit like “E-N.” The only thing I don’t like is when it isn’t “enough” of a name. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] doesn’t seem complete to me, but that isn’t just because it sound like the letter “L”
It doesn’t bother me usually - the only one that gives me a moment of hesitation is [name_f]Edie[/name_f] (E D), purely because those two letters are an anacronym for something that I would feel weird using myself, as much as I love [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. Otherwise, I think they’re kind of fun
it doesn’t bother me usually! one of my friends is [name_f]Essie[/name_f], and i’ve never thought it sounded weird because of the letters it sounds like
I love these kinds of names because they provide additional nickname options! Some favorites: CL (Ciel), KL (Cale), IV (Ivy), & ON (Owen)
