So, I was thinking recently about my favorite names and I realized that I prefer different names depending on the season! For example: I am much more drawn to [name_f]Emma[/name_f] in the spring and summer, whereas [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is more appealing in the fall and winter months.
Does this happen to y’all? If so, which names sparkle more during each time of year?
I don’t actually know! I definitely feel more and less enthusiastic about names over a period of time, but I don’t know if it’s connected to the seasons. In late winter, though, I daydream about botanical names because I am tired of winter and am looking forward to plants blooming!
I definitely feel like I am more drawn to bright, bubbly names in the winter – names like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], etc. that evoke the feeling of sunshine and summer.
hmm, i don’t really know. i feel like i’d be more likely to name my daughter [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] if she was born in spring/summer, but my opinion on the name doesn’t change based on the season. (i get this with other names too, but it’s a lot stronger with [name_f]Sienna[/name_f])
This is so interesting because [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is such a fall name to me; it makes me think of the burnt red colour of the same name and thus of autumn leaves.
While both of these names are definitely spring/summer names to me: fresh flowers and open windows and warm sun rays.
A name that I mainly associate with the colder months is [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], likely because of the first [name_f]Narnia[/name_f] movie!
