I’m looking for names to get a nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f]/[name_f]Indy[/name_f]?
Does [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] work?? Suggestions?
I assume [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] is ee-DAH-lee-ah? If so, I can’t really see pulling [name_f]Indie[/name_f] from it, but from a stretch it’s possible. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] make a lot more sense to me, but I tried to pull [name_f]Posy[/name_f] from [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] once, so I suppose just about anything is possible. 
[name_f]Idalia[/name_f] could work at a stretch. It would present a lot of spelling/pronunciation issues though. What about [name_f]Indira[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] or [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] with the nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f]/[name_f]Indy[/name_f]?
Ooh, I love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] definitely works, and something like [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] or even [name_f]Edwina[/name_f] could feasibly get the nickname [name_f]Indy[/name_f] - maybe even [name_f]Jacinta[/name_f], if any of those appeal.
