Loving [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] and all it’s royal connections, but, I’m unable to find any girls names that match it! [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] are nice with it, but I have a strong distaste for names being too ‘matchy’ in a family. The A beginning and ‘ah’ ending, and the similarity in syllables would definitely be too much for me! I don’t mind [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but would love more options
I think some of the names in your signature go well with the majestic and vintage [name_f]Augusta[/name_f]. [name_f]Millicent[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] have the same queenly vibe as do [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. While I like different initials, I don’t mind girls names ending in the same “a/ah”. Some European countries have all girls names ending this way (eg. [name_f]Russia[/name_f]) so it’s not as big an issue for me like boys names ending in “n”.As long as the names “sound” differently, it’s fine. I think classical names ([name_m]Roman[/name_m] and Greek) as well as vintage, mythological and saint names pair well with [name_f]Augusta[/name_f].
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f] was a front runner for this pregnancy, replaced by [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] and sister to DD, [name_m]Benedikte[/name_m]. Other options we will consider in future are: [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f].
Majestic name! You have infinite choices…so many listed above. You could go with one syllable like [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or go frilly like [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Pricilla[/name_f], or keep the regal theme, [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Please let us know what you choose.
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is a definite favourite if I have daughters, definitely using [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], but options for other girls, I have a lot thanks to these lovely lists
