I am not expecting yet, but am interested in finding names to go with my boy [name]Owen[/name]. [name]Sophie[/name] is his cousin who we spend a lot of time with, so it would be nice if it worked with her name as well. Two long O sounds… does that mean all other names with the same O should be eliminated from consideration? Obviously nothing too matchy or rhymey with [name]Sophie[/name] like [name]Sylvie[/name] or [name]Zoe[/name] (which I love).
My style is somewhat eclectic from what I can tell… (you namenerds probably have a better idea than I do! ;)), but the names I like for girls tend to be pretty feminine without being too frilly (I can do without most of the bell names, altho I do like [name]Isobel[/name])… and the names I like for boys tend to be Irish and/or edgier in feel.
Oh, also, I love [name]Em[/name]- names ([name]Emma[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name]) but since I am an [name]Em[/name]- I usually avoid them. Any suggestions on what would go well with [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Sophie[/name]? From my list or new suggestions? Thanks!
I really like [name]Isla[/name], [name]Esme[/name], [name]Noemi[/name], and [name]Penelope[/name]. All sound great with [name]Sophie[/name]. Others I would suggest would be [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Maya[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], and [name]Claudia[/name]

Lately [name]Ive[/name] been into the shorter ones though, like [name]Isla[/name] [name]Esme[/name] [name]Cora[/name] etc. Perfectly simple like [name]Owen[/name].
